Pre-requisites before training

For effective outcome of the training sessions, you may need to do some stuff before attending the training.

• Read some websites about Devops and Cloud.
• Go through some of the Job Descriptions of DevOps Roles and analyze what they are asking.
• Get your Macbook or Laptop ready bring.
• Sign up for Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure Clouds.
• Make a note of any specific topics you want covered in the session.

What will you learn on Day 1 ( Sat 10 AM to 5 PM)

Day 1 focusses on core concepts on DevOps, Cloud and Automation. Some introduction about tools and making sure we have environment setup for Day-2's practice.

• Understanding DevOps, Cloud, Automation Concepts.
• Understaning the phases(Code, Build, Test, Integrate, Deploy, Feedback) in DevOps in detail.
• Making list of tools(Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure, Chef) necessary to learn and know.
• Installation, Configuration and Setup of the tools in the laptops.
• Question and Answers, Brainstorming and going through some Job Descriptions.

What will you learn on Day 2 ( Sun 10 AM to 5 PM)

Day 2 focusses on implementing the concepts and the tools on a real project and understanding the actual implementation and gain confidence.

• Setting up VMs on AWS and Azure.
• Setting up Jobs on CICD Platform Jenkins.
• Setting up Build Agents and run Build Jobs.
• Running the whole DevOps cycle of a project.
• Setting up and run a project on Dev, QA and Prod Environments.
